From a sixteen century inn to tavern The story of Zà Zà in brief.
was founded the restaurant Za Za, in one of the buildings survived at the time ...
Or maybe it's better to say that it is here that still lives: where now Za Za, in fact, since the early nineteenth century there was a small inn.
It is 1977 when Stefano Bondi, born at number 18 of the Main Market Square in the old house of aunt Tonina ,
baptizes with the name Za Za this dining room and open to the public. It was April 7.

Excellent Tuscan dishes. I had the truffle ravioli and the osso buco, my wife had the veal escalope with porcini mushrooms along with truffle fries. My son had the beef steak with fries. We all tried each other's dishes and everything was delicious. We then tried the custard with caramel cream (panna cotta), and it was outstanding. The service was great, the food came out fast, the waiter helped us with good recommendations, and the prices were very reasonable. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. The best meal I had in Italy. I'm from Taiwan, traveled in different places in Italy for the past 9 days, first time in Itlay. This was the BEST truffle Carbonara I've ever had(in my life). And the mixed seafood Risotto was amazing as well. Definitely the restaurant me and my friend want to revisit in our lifetime if we have the chance to go back to Florence. Lovely atmosphere, great food! This was recommended by a friend from Australia, & did not disappoint. Atmosphere was great, lots of history. Food was yummy at a reasonable price. We had sausage & white beans & chicken with triffle sause & garlic potatoes with a side of fried zucchini flowers. To drink the house chianti. To finish i had the lemon liquor sorbet. All was delicious. Service was fast, not rushed & friendly. Linda H, Maitland, Australia, Trip Advisor
A bit whacky, but why not. Took trip advisor advice and booked evening meal. Superb. The decor is the whacky bit with the Italian love of toys theme. The service attention was very good. We started with spaghetti with clams and the stock/ sauce was strong and lovely. The house speciality is 1 kg farmhouse steak, a challenge, I tried, and it was superb, could I finish.......? Need to book even when other restaurants are quiet. Thoroughly recommend. Nicholasc, Oxford, United Kingdom, Trip Advisor
